Michoacán.- The Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) in Michoacán contributes to the improvement in the care of the inpatient caregiver, through the provision of bed chairs, donated by companies and michoacana society.
During the act of giving recognitions to companies and public and private bodies, for the donation to the IMSS of 253 accompanying chair beds, to be distributed in the Michoacan hospitals, the director general of the IMSS Foundation, Ana Lía de Fátima García García, established that the amalgamation of wills between the institution and the society allow to improve the stay of patients and also their companions.
Developed at the “Stella Inda” Theatre and with the health measures that the emergency demands, such as the use of mouth covers, healthy distance and use of antibacterial gel, recognitions were given to organized civil society agencies, associations and groups in the entity, which made possible with their donations, the acquisition of the indicated furniture.
On her occasion, the holder of the IMSS Representation Office in Michoacán, Ma. Luisa Rodea Pimentel, assured that never as now is the IMSS-society binomial established as a mechanism to achieve, through solidarity and cooperation, better phases of well-being, not only for patients, but also to foster a higher quality climate for their companions or caregivers.
In the same sense, both Raymundo López Olvera and Rubén Flores Muñoz, presidents of the Business Coordinating Council and the Patronial Confederation of the Mexican Republic, respectively, agreed to point out the michoacana business and employer contribution to contribute to the tasks that IMSS has in the entity with said furniture, which will directly benefit the relatives of the sick.
In this way, more than 30 groups, business agencies and diverse associations of the state, received recognition for their donation in kind and economical for the acquisition of 253 chairs accompanying beds.
This furniture consists of metal chairs, cushioned, that extend into a narrow stretcher where the family member or caregiver of the patient can stretch his legs and lie down in the periods possible.
