Morelia, Michoacán.- In order to carry out a detailed analysis and, where appropriate, provide alternatives to the upcoming Guadalupanas Festivals, the City Council of Morelia, through the Secretariat of Municipal Public Services, installed a work table with representatives of the merchants who traditionally settled on the esplanade of the Plaza Jardín Morelos, reported in a statement.
In this meeting were present the secretary of the City Council, Humberto Arróniz, the Secretary of Municipal Public Services, Ramón Baltierra Sánchez and representatives of the merchants who are placed every year in the Plaza Jardín Morelos and surrounding streets.
Ramón Valtierra emphasized that the City Council of Morelia will fully adhere to the recommendations issued by the health authorities that at that time govern in the municipality, in addition to restraining its position that, if the conditions are favourable, work is being worked on in the creation of a protocol, in which the Archdiocese also participates.
In the following weeks, a new meeting will be held to continue this intention, as these parties are one of the main seasons for traders.
