The app is an Argentine creation that offers a service that we all once use, either for a move or to send or receive something. That’s why Kargho is a technology freight contracting platform and app designed for people, businesses and companies with cargoes to transport to decide when, how and with whom to do so. The business model is based on alliances with freighters, with the aim of bringing together all their logistics service offerings in one place so that users decide which one they consider best to carry out their transfer. The company was created in 2018 by Gonzalo Vila (CEO), Mariano Rodriguez (CTO) and Ramiro Bugari (CIO) and released in September 2020. the app offers two types of services: «Transport for my cargo» or «Cargo for my transport». The first is intended for users who need to hire a freight service to move a particular load, while the second option redirects freighters to the registration process to offer the same as suppliers within the platform. At the moment, Kargho only offers its services within the Metropolitan region of Buenos Aires. However, in a few months you will be present throughout the country starting with the provinces of Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Córdoba, San Luis and Mendoza.How does it work? The platform connects the user to the type of freight they need to ship. The process begins with the publication of the product to be shipped, and then continues with the application of offers so that the individual can evaluate which freight to select for transfer. After receiving the various carrier profiles and their respective prices, the user chooses the transportation option that he/she considers best. When the selection is made, the process of collecting the cargo from the address detailed by the customer to the final destination point where the shipment will be received is initiated. The price of the service is set exclusively by the freighter, who is then responsible for agreeing the method of payment with the user.
