Foreign Minister Andrés Allamand is another member of the government cabinet who has already exercised his right to vote. After fulfilling his civic duty, he spoke about the development of the process in the world.
In this regard, he assured that the election had developed “in complete normality” and hoped that the process in Chile would “replicate the normality it has had abroad”.
“Towards the end of our day, we should have the process completed abroad, except for what is the west coast of North America where there are votes in a couple of cities in the United States and Canada, they’re going to end after us,” the chancellor explained.
“Chile, which has channeled its political process through an institutional system without institutional breakdowns, without ruptures and with high citizen participation and those characteristics of the Chilean process stand out and look very good on the outside,” he added.
It is worth remembering that for this plebiscite, 219 tables are contemplated in 65 countries around the world. According to Information from servel, until 13:05 hours 208 tables (94.97%) have been installed.
