home Michoacán “As a university professor I feel committed to education” Ignacio Campos

Michoacán.- The federal deputy, Ignacio Campos Equihua reported that the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) will release in November 600 million pesos for the public universities of the country, so that they can meet the payment of year-end salaries, of about 70 thousand workers from higher education institutions, as reported in a statement.
This, having participated virtually in a meeting with the secretaries general of trade unions grouped in the National Confederation of University Workers (Contu), which addressed the issue of the Federation’s Egress Budget for 2021 and where the also secretary of the Committee on Budget and Public Account offered full support.
“As a university professor I feel committed to education, not only with the Michoacana University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo that has given me so much, but in general with the ten state public universities that go through a critical moment. The Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) has already corroborated this support, only the amounts that will go to each university are being defined.”
So Campos Equihua emphasized that this is further proof that the federal government complies with its commitments across the country and pays for the development of states without partisan distinction; contrary to what dissident governors have said in recent days, “that they are committed to distorting the progress of 4Q.”
