Joe Biden won the U.S. presidential election after winning the state of Pennsylvania, U.S. media reported.
“America, I’m honored that I’ve been chosen to run this great country,” Biden said after news of his victory through his Twitter account.
“The work ahead of us will be arduous, but I promise you this: I will be a president for all Americans, whether they vote for me or not. I will keep the faith they have placed in me,” he added.

Biden will take office on January 20 and become us President 46.
The 77-year-old Democrat’s victory comes after four days of waiting and in which he held a slight advantage. It was until this Saturday that media outlets such as CNN, NBC, AP and Fox News reported Pennsylvania results that gave Biden the 20 electoral votes with which he went from 253 to 273.
Winning the presidency required 270 electoral votes. Trump got 214 electoral votes.
