Jacona, Michoacán.- An element of the Secretariat of National Defense attached to the 17th Infantry Battalion lost his life drowned, after going swimming in the waters of the Dam of La Luz, apparently he had a few minutes after having eaten.
At the site of the events it was learned that on Sunday, the soldier was on his day off in the company of his family and some companions, lived and had already ingested their food.
At one point he went swimming and suddenly could not dive, so immediately his companions jumped into the water and took him out, soon came the paramedics of Municipal Civil Protection who with maneuvers of R.C.P., tried to revive him, but the patient did not respond.
The West was identified as Officer Gregorio Román A., M., 29, who was domiciled in the Military Housing of this region.
Elements of the Municipal Police, Michoacán and the National Guard cordoned off the area and minutes later staff arrived from the State Attorney General’s Office, which carried out the rigor proceedings and took the body to the local Semefo morgue.
