Next Friday, November 20 from 20 hours comes the second edition of the Juntas Festival, the meeting that brings together great female exponents of the Argentine music scene. Tickets are now available and can be obtained here. Due to the current situation, this time it will develop in different locations in the City of Buenos Aires and will be streamed. There will be live music, fashion, astrology, immersive theatre, performances, talks and interviews, DJs and vjs and different types of interventions. In this edition it will bring together artists such as EMME, Feli Colina, Dyhzy, Dolores Cobach, Connie Isla, Bimbo, Ine Maguire, La Coneja China, Neneca, Caro Donati, and more. The truth is that it has already generated high expectations.
There will also be bands from all over the country that will be chosen through a competition with a luxury jury composed of Lula Bertoldi, EMME, and Jesi Call. The call is aimed at rising bands, led by women from all over the country and open to all musical genres. The meeting will reportedly take place as a tribute to the first anniversary of the sanction of the Women’s Quota Act and Women’s Artists’ Access to Musical Events.” The festival aims to make women’s talent visible; giving women an exclusive (but not exclusive) place of expression such as artists, producers, entrepreneurs and creators who defy boundaries, biases and prejudice,” the press release states.
