Maravatío, Michoacán.- The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán (FGE), through the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office on The Care of High Impact Crimes, secured a property related to illegal conduct and recovered two vehicles with reports of theft, as well as two units with alterations in their means of identification; action taken in the municipality of Maravatío.
This resulted from an anonymous complaint that referred to possible acts constituting a crime in a pen-enabled establishment, located on the Morelia-Maravatío highway, which was investigated by personnel of the Unit Against Theft of Transport, who collected evidence that was later presented to the Control Judge who issued the respective search warrant.
During this action, staff of the institution located and secured a Volkswagen car, type Vento, silver and a Jeep van, type Cherokee, black, both with reports of theft, as well as a Honda vehicle, type City, gray, and a tractor-trailer of the brand Mercedes, Benz, green with white, with alterations in its means of identification.
The property was secured and the units were made available to the Public Prosecutor’s Office that will be responsible for continuing the investigations that allow the clarification of these facts.
