Florence Barrios, 26, and Micaela Crino Pacher, 25, remain in serious condition in two health centers in Mar del Plata, but had a slight improvement in recent hours. Because of the impact, the driver of the first vehicle, identified as Sofia Duró, 26, died on the spot, as well as the young woman occupying the passenger seat, identified as Charo Alvarez Amado, of the same age. Crino Pacher and Barrios traveled in the back seat and survived the impact, but they had to be moved urgently to the Ana Rosa Gutiérrez Hospital in Madariaga.Barrios, which was in a 33-week pregnancy, was moved with multiple fractures of humerus, tibia and pelvis to the General Interzonal Hospital of Acutes (HIGA) of Mar del Plata, where doctors performed an emergency C-section and found the loss of the baby due to the serious injuries suffered by the young woman. For his part, Crino Pacher was referred to the Clinic May 25 with a “severe skull trauma, with respiratory mechanical assistance”. As reported by the platense site El Día, both girls have slight improvements in their painting, but there are still no forecasts of evolution of either.
