Guanajuato.- During the course of this November 23rd a man identified as Juan Carlos, 54 years old, he was beaten by Criminal Investigative Officers in Celaya, Guanajuato, with such violence that minutes later he lost his life.Newspaper Mail Information indicates that the victim was approached by the policemen around 4 p.m. (local time), telling him they had a warrant for apprehension against him, which they would never have shown.

In the face of the alleged lack of argument by the officers Juan Carlos refused to climb into his unit, uncovering struggles that gradually rose in tone until the assaulted man threw himself to the ground, where he was beaten to subdue him.
The man was eventually arrested, however the same officers took him to Celaya General Hospital for medical care, where his lack of vital signs could only be confirmed. Periódico Correo details that the subject stayed for about 10 minutes inside the judicial unit, as the nosocomio did not want to receive him because he was supposedly lifeless, although they ended up entering him. In this regard, the Guanajuato State Human Rights Attorney’s Office (PDHEG) reported via Twitter that they initiated a former complaint with registration 103/2020-CI, while requesting a report from the Director General of Investigations of the State Attorney General’s Office and the leader of the General Hospital of Celaya.The Attorney General of the entity located in central Mexico stated on social media that the officers complied with an arrest warrant at the time of the events, adding that those involved, two men and one woman, were arrested to initiate an investigation. An important note that a video broadcast on social media shows the supposed moment of aggression, where in one of the scenes it is seen that the official unity of the agents had no plates.
