State of Mexico.- A three-year-old boy died last Tuesday night aboard a van on the Lechería-Texcoco and Independencia highway at the height of colonia Los Héroes Tecámac Quinta Sección, in the municipality of Ecatepec.De according to early police reports indicate that the boy, his mother and two other adults were traveling in a Grand Cherokee van when they were attacked.

From at least two cars they were shot, leaving the three-year-old dead, his mother with a gunshot wound to the head and another adult was also injured.
The injured managed to ask employees at a nearby convenience store for help, so emergency services were deployed to the site. The child’s mother and second injured were taken to Las Americas Hospital, where they receive medical care.
