The Attorney General’s Office (FGJE) of Sonora executed an arrest warrant against Juan Ramón “N”, for his likely responsibility for the crime of rape, when he served as a Christian pastor.
The complaint was by a woman member of the Pentecostal Christian congregation, who claimed to be the victim of this crime when Juan Ramón was pastor and spiritual guide of that enclosure located in the central colony of Hermosillo. 
This Saturday morning, at approximately 10:30 a.m., elements of the Ministerial Criminal Investigation Agency (AMIC), of the Attorney General’s Office (FGJE), executed the apprehension order against him.

The detention was carried out in a house located in the Rivello Residencial colony. In addition, derived from the fact, the ecclesiastical court of the Christian congregation dismissed him as a religious pastor. 
According to criminal case 3618/2020 dated 25 November 2020, the then pastor abused the woman and therefore, seeking justice, filed the complaint, the FGJE reported.
For now Juan Ramón “N.” is in pre-trial detention and FGJE Sonora continues with investigations.
Meanwhile, the victim receives care and psychological accompaniment from staff from the Centre for the Care of Victims of Crime (CAVID), of the Justice Center for Women of this Prosecutor’s Office, detailed the same unit.
