A 47-year-old Armenian man was shot in the neck by three criminals this morning in Puerto Madero after they tried to steal his bike and for the murder there is a 15-year-old boy in custody. The event occurred after 8 a.m. at the intersection of Madero Avenue and San Martín, where the tourist was riding and cycling with three friends. According to police sources, the criminals took advantage of a few seconds in which the victim separated from the group and went to steal her bike. After a struggle, the criminals shot him in the lower face, near his neck, and although he was urgently transferred to Fernandez Hospital, he died after arriving.
Alberto Crescenti, head of the Emergency Health Care System of the City of Buenos Aires, detailed: “At 8.15 a.m. an alert was received, two UNITS of same were arriving at the site, proceeded to compensate, had a gunshot wound in facial region. They tried to make up for it, he was very serious and he was transferred to Fernandez Hospital. Unfortunately he died,” in an interview with TN. Police officers in the area quickly arrested the 15-year-old and in his belongings found a 32-gauge firearm. The other two assassins escaped to Villa 31, whose entrance is a few meters away. The victim, first name “Dimitri”, is resident in a neighborhood in the north of the capital and is based in the country at least 20 years ago.
