translated from Spanish: Jeannette von Wolfersdorff and formerfiscal Carlos Gajardo will discuss “Institutions” in cycle “Chile 5.0 Strategy, Called to Action”

The theme “Institutions” will be the central point of the table that will bring together the executive director and co-founder of the Fiscal Spending Observatory, Jeannette von Wolfersdorff, and former prosecutor Carlos Gajardo as part of the “Chile 5.0 Strategy, Called to Action” talk cycle.
In the event, both will address how Chile should systemically consider a level of sustainable development, from the perspectives of sound agencies, transparency, education, justice and partnerships.
The talk is part of the cycle organized jointly between alum students and MBA management of the Federico Santa Maria Technical University, based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, which aims to contribute proposals and conclusions of free readiness for the community.
“We are in a different, more inclusive society today, where our natural resources are running low, and this pandemic shows that it doesn’t matter at the level of GDP per capita that a country has neither its level of development, it has affected us all in the same way. These issues make us reflect that we must be able to manage all our natural, economic resources, so that we must be very responsible when we talk about economic growth, as it becomes necessary to go hand in hand with sustainable development. Economic growth without sustainable development is not possible, and that is what the UN’s 17 DS proposes,” says Hugo Osorio, director of MBA UTFSM.
The activity to be held next Friday, December 12 at 18 hours is open to all public, registering at: https://bit.ly/39ySXJZ
