Through his social media, Mario Delgado, president of Morena, announced as the winner the South-Californian senator. «He is now our state coordinator for the Defense of 4Q,» he wrote.

On his Twitter account, Castro Cosío thanked «all the people of Baja California Sur for having confidence, nothing is more important than all together.»
On 4 November, seven applicants for the BCS candidacy were registered; however, only four of them were chosen for the polls.
«In Morena people decide,» Mario Delgado wrote in another message. And he referred to the winner as «a representative of obradorism for many years.»
The missing states to announce to their pre-parties are: Baja California, Colima, Guerrero, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Sonora, Chihuahua, Michoacán, Nayarit, Sinaloa, Querétaro, Zacatecas and Tlaxcala.
