The Government of Mexico City announced a number of supports for micro and small businesses, formal and non-formal restaurants, as well as some tax support, as well as an advance in the payment of scholarships.
All supports will be delivered in January, but the call will be available from this December 23rd, announced the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum.
These four programmes were activated to support the population affected by the red light.

“These add to the amount of permanent support that the government of Mexico City is giving,” Luz Elena González, Secretary of Capital Administration and Finance, announced at the conference.
Credit to micro and small businesses
The programme has a budget of 500 million pesos to be distributed over 50,000 microcredits.
The credit will be a unique amount of 10 thousand pesos, with a payment period of 24 months, with a grace period of four months.
You will have an interest rate of 0% and your payment will be monthly.
Registration of the procedure begins on January 15. You can apply for the credit at: https://tramites-cdmx-gob-mx/fondeso/
Requirements: INE, CURP, proof of domicile in Mexico City and proof of business, required or obligated solitary with official identification and proofs, as well as signing and electronic shipment of contract, promissory note and depreciation table.
Support for restaurant workers
There will be a one-time payment of 2,200 pesos for formal and non-formal restaurant workers. Aid is provided for 100,000 workers.
The Secretariat for Economic Development will raise a census in funding and small non-formal businesses, to gather information from workers and to access the program.
Requirements: Being a resident of CDMX, official identification, CURP, being part of the standards composed of the secretariats of Government and Economic Development

Scholarship advance
My Starter Scholarship payment and support for tools and uniforms for all families with sons and daughters enrolled in the Public Basic Education System will be advanced by January.
From Next January 2, beneficiary students will receive a double deposit, as a one-month advance.
It will reach more than one million 250 thousand children and will be done by electronic transfer.
This will be the amount that will be received by adding both supports for each student.
Preschool: 710 pesos
Primary: 790 pesos
Secondary: 830 pesos
Multiple Care Center: 900 pesos.
Tax forgiveness
There will be a total forgiveness for January of payroll tax for small non-essential businesses of the Historic Center.
It benefits the economic activities affected by the closure mainly, the restaurant and hotel sectors.
It will apply to polygons A and B of the Historic Center.
The approximate total tax cost for the Centro colony is 20.5 million pesos.
