translated from Spanish: They recognize that they were due to the merchants of Mocorito

Mocorito, Sinaloa.- Unfortunately this 2020 was very complicated for all productive sectors, but especially for organized traders of the Magic Village of Mocorito, since they did not have any support, says the Director of Economic Development of the City Council. Lily López López acknowledges that it was the duty of organized traders to develop many support projects for different types of equipment and put them before the state government, but none landed.

“Taking stock of what the year was, we sincerely fell short in the supports provided to the Mocorito trade, we sought by different means that landed but did not succeed”, the Director of Economic Development of the City Council.

The civil service company explained that the advent of the pandemic made things much more complicated as resources did not flow as they wished and it was virtually impossible to provide the supports required by traders, which is why they were only trained in promoting their products and articles on digital platforms. “We would have wanted to have given more but we could not, the traders what they required most was the support of equipment to grow in infrastructure and production and we did everything appropriate to get them so that this year could not, none of these benefits came, we escaped our hands but we did not remove our finger from the line, we continue to work hard , with efforts and everything involved, so that in 2021 we do much better, the supports arrive and take forward all the earrings that are available,” added Lily Lopez. He also stated that they have a lot of faith that all this is going to change and will be a better incentive in the economy of the municipality of Mocorito. “The Government of Sinaloa talks about how much has been dispersed in supports, but this is at the state level and if we land it to Mocorito here it has been very minimal what has been given,” says Lily López, Director of Economic Development at the City Council.
