Morena announced to the pre-minutes that they will compete for the governors of Guerrero, Michoacán and Sinaloa in the 2021 elections.
Morena’s leader, Mario Delgado, announced at a brief press conference that Senator Félix Salgado Macedonio was the winner of the internal poll for the candidacy in Guerrero.

The mayor of Morelia, Raúl Morón, won the survey of 29 contenders, to compete for Michoacán, according to the leader.
While for Sinaloa will be Rubén Rocha the aspiring Morenist.

Delgado stated that there is only one state to define candidacy: San Luis Potosí, where they will select a woman.
“In the state of San Luis Potosí we will choose a woman as a candidate and fulfill our commitment to parity, not by mandate, but by conviction,” she said.
So far, the contenders That Morena has defined for the 2021 elections are: David Monreal in Zacatecas; Alfonso Durazo, in Sonora; Clara Luz Flores, in Nuevo León; Marina del Pilar Avila, In Baja California; (e) Víctor Castro Cosío, in Baja California Sur; Layda Sansores San Román, in Campeche; Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros, in Tlaxcala, and Juan Carlos Loera, in Chihuahua
