translated from Spanish: SEE Michoacán offices will work in January only with essential staff

Morelia, Michoacán.- Derived from the increase in COVID-19 contagions, recorded during december last year, the State Government is busy protecting the health of the population and that of its workers.
This is how efforts stand firm and will continue with the guidelines that have been implemented in all the workplaces of the State Executive, in order to ensure the well-being of all public servants.
Therefore, during January 2021, the Secretariat of State Education (SEE) reports that it will maintain a healthy distance in the workplace and will be working with 50% of the staff and the remaining 50 will continue their work from home.
In addition, persons considered to be at high risk, i.e. persons over 60 years of age, hypertensive, diabetic, asthmatic and pregnant or breastfeeding women should remain in shelter in their homes.
Similarly, working mothers with children under the age of 10 or physically or mentally disabled of any age, who do not have family support networks for the care of their best, may also be absent.
Important to mention that working hours should be 4 to 6 hours per day, according to the needs of the service and the characteristics of each work center.
The prohibition on the use of fingerprint readers in the registry and control of assistance is maintained, so alternative means that do not pose an increased risk to the spread of the virus should be implemented for this purpose.
Workers who require more information will be able to consult the full circular on the website of the Ministry of Education, http://www.educacion.michoacan.gob.mx/.
