To reduce the COVID-19 contagion chain, Soriana announced its rapid virus detection testing service, via mobile units.
According to the company, the first two mobile units are available in the parking lots of the Soriana de Pilares and Mixcoac stores in Mexico City, but plans to extend the service to stores across the country.

Although it did not detail the costs, Soriana assured that PCR, serological and antigen tests will be carried out by laboratories endorsed by the Federal Commission for the Protection of Health Risks (Cofepris) from Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 17.00 hours and Saturday from 8.00 to 13.00 hours.
It detailed that for serological and antigen tests it will have results in 30 minutes, and will notify them by email.
Offers cold chain and vaccination facilities
In a statement, Soriana offers municipal, state and federal governments its cold supply chain and logistics network to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine safely and effectively.
The company made its 780 stores available as vaccination centers.
“The Organization has strengthened its supply chain and is in a condition of distributing and applying the vaccine that neutralizes the virus that causes COVID-19 to support the goal of getting all Mexicans vaccinated,” said Edmundo Fernández, director of the Pharmacy Division of Soriana Organization.
