At a press conference, the Secretary of Health, Manuel de la O Cavazos, reported that after having randomly analyzed 30 samples of people with viral load, one was presented with the characteristics of variant B117 of SARS-CoV-2 causing Coronavirus disease.
“The most characteristic mutation of the variant was sought and was not found. Other mutations were sought, but were not found, so it is ruled out. It is ruled out that this virus belongs to the new variant,” he said.
