Morelia, Michoacán.- As a frontline care group for distress and emergency calls, the Morelia Civil Protection and Fire Coordination requested the Federal Government to include staff to the Covid-19 vaccination scheme.
Rogelio Rangel Reguera, PC coordinator in the town, explained that through the municipal presidency management has also been requested so that paramedics, firefighters and civil protection can be vaccinated within the current batch of biologicals that arrived at the entity.
It explained that the request had been made to the delegate of the Secretariat of Welfare in Michoacán, Roberto Pantoja Arzola, and was therefore awaiting a response.
From the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic to date, Morelia Civil Protection and Firefighters has the record of 17 infected elements, which overcame the disease.
Currently, there is a record of an internalized element, with favorable evolution and it is expected that at a forthcoming date it will be discharged.
Municipal PC has 78 active guard items, with an age range of 25 to 30 years; and vulnerable personnel continue to guard the onset of the pandemic.
