Morelia, Michoacán.- The Municipal President of Morelia, Humberto Arróniz Reyes, recognized the work of the country’s armed forces as part of the CVIII Anniversary of the Mexican Army by attending the event in the 21st Military Zone.
In the company of the commander of the 21st Military Zone and official speaker of the ceremony, Sergio Armando Barrera Salcedo, the history of the formation of this commemoration, on February 19, 1913, was recalled in the struggle for freedom, peace and social justice.
The emergence of the army in Mexico is reminiscent of restoring broken institutions, the defense of democracy and the vindication of social causes, is now an institution recognized as a pillar safeguarding the sovereignty and internal security of the nation.
This event was also attended by the Secretary of Government of the State, Armando Hurtado Arévalo, the president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the entity, Héctor Octavio Morales Juárez, the State Attorney General, Adrián López Solís, the Secretary of Public Security, Israel Patrón Reyes and the station chief of the National Intelligence Center in Michoacán, Fernando Castro Miranda.
