Elements of the state and investigative police arrived at the site, who carried out the steps to integrate the corresponding investigative folders, the agency’s Public Security secretariat reported.
In a statement, the INE condemned the facts, and reported that it was Roberto Jesús Ricoy Hernández, who was 36 years old and served as an assistant voter trainer.
From February 12th to March 31st, Election Assistant Trainers (CAES) tour the homes of more than 12.2 million citizens in the country to invite them to be officials of the 163,000 squares to be installed on June 6.
In the face of the facts, the Institute called on local authorities to provide guarantees for these eventual staff.
According to the INE, the Local Executive Board of Zacatecas provides legal accompaniment to the family and will initiate the formalities for the payment of respective life insurance.
