Health authorities recorded 1,006 more deaths from COVID-19, for a total of 182,815 confirmed deaths from the disease.
They also confirmed 8,642 new cases, so two million 60,908 people have been ill with the virus since the epidemic began.

However, 49 thousand 689 (2%) are considered to be are active cases of COVID from having symptoms in the last 14 days.
At a press conference, the authorities said the trend declines in estimated cases by 23% between weeks 5 and 6 of the year.
Nationally, 32% of general hospitalization beds are occupied. Please note that for beds with fans, occupancy is 35%.
Vaccines applied against COVID
According to official figures, so far a million 900 thousand 784 doses of COVID have been applied in the country.
This Wednesday, 85,576 thousand were recorded.
So far 475 thousand 389 complete vaccination schemes have been applied, i.e. with two doses.
71% of frontline health personnel already have a complete scheme, while 737 thousand 915 older adults have already received their first dose.
