U.S. President Joe Biden said today that undocumented immigrants should be able to access the coronavirus vaccine without fear of deportation.” I want to make sure everyone can get vaccinated and protected from Covid, without the Immigration Control Service (ICE) or anyone else interfering,” the Democratic representative said.
Biden made the comments during an interview with Spanish-language media univision after visiting a coronavirus vaccination facility in Texas, a state that has also been devastated by winter storms, power outages and lack of drinking water. The president said his $1.9 trillion Covid-19 aid package approved this morning by the lower house will include an increase in nutritional benefits, among other areas, to help those affected by the pandemic and climate-related disasters.
