The National Regeneration Movement (Morena) party reported attacks on its facilities, located in the Roma colony, within the mayoral Cuauhtémoc.
According to the president’s party, around 10 p.m. on February 26, “there was a fight between a group of people who tackled sticks and stones at the front door of the Morena offices, where they piled chairs, tables and other furniture, the same as those who set fire to them.”

Morena asked the Prosecutor’s Office to proceed against the intellectual and material perpetrators, who, she argued, “shouted slogans and threats at party members and local neighbors, while the fire increased because they did not allow the fire brigade to enter.”

After showing videos and photographs of the damage to its headquarters, the party called for a avoidance of violence “in the face of any circumstance or discontent.”
