Zitácuaro, Michoacán.- Two young women were shot dead by gunmen without the motive of the attack being known at the time, both were channeled to receive medical care, being helped by local paramedics, but one of them lost her existence when she was cared for in a hospital in this region, to say from police sources.
The event was this Monday outside a shop that is on the Zitácuaro-Morelia road in the junction that goes towards Zirahuato De Los Bernal in this municipality. The rescuers transferred the offended to a nosocomio and there one of them perished, mentioned government contacts.
It was also known that the assailants were travelling aboard a white Mazda-type car. Representatives of the law guarded the perimeter while lifeguards helped those affected and also did various patrols in search of the attackers, but without having positive results from their location.
On the subject, the Ministry of Public Security disclosed this day the following in its official Twitter account (@MICHOACANSSP): “The #PolicíaMichoacán takes an operational action in the town of Zirahuato de Los Bernal, municipality of Zitácuaro, following an assault against two people; search efforts are carried out in the area for those involved in the event,” the dependency said.
