Alberto Fernández traveled to Mendoza for the first time since he was president to participate in the Harvest festival, in Luján de Cuyo, and in a brief dialogue with the press referred to the police repression in Formosa. “We are concerned about institutional violence, we are analyzing it,” Fernandez said of the acts of violence as part of a merchant protest over the return to Phase I in the province.
Then the president, who repeatedly highlighted Gildo Insfrán as political leader, said that since his administration “we are talking to the (provincial) government and monitoring how things are going.” The representative participated in the presentation of the Argentina Viticulture Strategic Plan 2030, which took place at the Regional Center of the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA).

In this context he highlighted the State’s position to “develop industry” and called for working together to “give strength to all activity.” The President traveled accompanied by the Minister of the Interior, Eduardo de Pedro and the Secretaries General of the Presidency, Julio Vitobello; Strategic Affairs, Gustavo Beliz and Juan Pablo Biondi Communication and Press. At the INTA site was already the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Luis Basterra.
