translated from Spanish: There will be a single UNAM entrance exam; these are the dates and deadlines

Faced with the concerns left by the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) decided that it will perform a single exam at the bachelor’s level for this year.
The entrance exam will apply to both School, Open University and Distance systems for the next school year, “with the aim of providing conditions of fairness and equality for all applicants,” UNAM said.
This, after the epidemiological traffic light did not allow the selection examination to be applied which was scheduled between February 20 and March 9.
What are the new dates?
UNAM expanded the registration for the exam from 16 to 18 March, thinking of applicants who were unable to register last January.
“In this unique process, the educational offer contemplated for the two competitions will be respected,” the university detailed in a statement.
When will the test be?
The selection exam will apply from May 8 to June 8, and includes those who registered in January and new participants.
This, UNAM explained, so as not to postpone the start of the 2021-2022 school year envisaged to begin on August 9.

“The implementation of this single examination at the bachelor’s level will be carried out according to the need for better health conditions to prevent contagion between the supporters and the workers, who will participate in person, so the dates are subject to the instructions and measures that the health authorities determine,” he said.
