Mexico City. – The Undersecretary of Prevention and Promotion of Health, Hugo López-Gatell, was seen on Wednesday walking in the streets of the Condesa colony, in the mayoral Cuauhtémoc, in the company of his partner. However, during the evening conference he said he tested COVID-19 positive again.
On social media, photographs of the official were shared walking in Parque México next to his partner, where it was observed that he did not carry mouth covers, nor any kind of measure of healthy distance.
This Wednesday, during the COVID-19 evening conference, López-Gatell was seen after two weeks of absence from the virus. He says: “I’m fully recovered, but proof came out again positive.”

The undersecretary mentioned on February 20 that he tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, so he had to be admitted to the Citibanamex Temporary Unit, where he was admitted with supplemental oxygen, a day later he was discharged.
