Morelia, Michoacán.- Continuing the implementation of the Flood Prevention Program carried out by the Government of Morelia, through the Interinstitutional Brigade, the third day of cleaning was held, which took place in the Workers’ Colony, on the street plan of the Olives corner with Venustiano Carranza street, at the crossroads of the train tracks.
During six hours of hard work, 80 meters of the canal located in the area as well as the sewer infrastructure were cleaned to ensure proper operation in the upcoming rainy season.

This cleaning day involved the solid waste and parks and gardens of the Secretariat of Public Services, the Secretariat of Rural Development and Environment, and the Morelia Drinking Water, Sewerage and Sanitation Operator Agency (OOAPAS).
In total, 1.5 tons of plastic waste and rubbish were removed from the channel crossing the designated area.
