The Ministry of Health reported on Monday 7,247 new cases of Covid-19, of which 4,668 correspond to symptomatic people and 1,739 have no symptoms. The total number of people who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the country reaches 984,484. Of that total, 42,509 patients are in the active stage. As for the deaths, according to the information provided by the DEIS, in the last 24 hours there were 101 deaths from causes associated with Covid-19. In this regard, the authority reported an adjustment in the death toll, adding 215 victims of the disease to the total number. Such cases were previously considered suspects. In this way, the total number of fatalities amounts to 23,070 in the country. To date, 2,590 people are hospitalized in Intensive Care Units, of which 2,237 are supported by mechanical ventilation. Regarding the Laboratory Network and diagnostic capacity, yesterday the results of 75,958 PCR tests were reported.
