Morelia, Michoacán.- “We are more than 120 million Mexicans affected by the Electric Industry Act that was passed in 2013 by the PRI, PAN and PRD, which meant that a Mexican paid 5.20 pesos for every kilowatt, while at Walmart he only pays 1.2 pesos,” Misael García Vázquez said.
This was accused in No Censorship TV, after recalling how deputies laughed at Mexicans in 2013, when the approval of the Peña Nieto Reform from the Chamber of Deputies privileged only large companies such as Walmart, Bimbo and the Oxxo store chain.
“Now with the announcement of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador we know that on average these companies should pay 42 thousand pesos per month in electricity but what happens is that they pay just 14 thousand pesos,” he reminded the public from Without Censorship.

He further indicated that about 20 thousand pesos were subsidized to the Oxxo chain, however he reiterated that the problem comes when this amount is multiplied by the 17 thousand 444 Oxxos that extinguish throughout Mexico approximately.
“Since 2013 that this proposal was approved by the PRI-PAN-PRD parties, Mexico has lost more than 412 billion pesos this equates to eight years of revenue from the Government of Michoacán, it is as if eight years of the energy budget had been stolen,” he concluded.
