María Becerra managed to rise as one of the most interesting proposals of the current urban scene. But his beginnings weren’t like the rest of them. Instead of the squares, she developed on YouTube as a content creator, generating a much closer link than that of any other contemporary artist. Born in Quilmes on 12 February 2000, she studied theatre, singing and acting attending castings and competitions from a young age. The 15-year-old decided to open his own YouTube channel in which he interspersed funny videos with covers.
It was his “Roast Yourself Challenge” that kicked him to devote himself fully to his dream: that video was the most watched of 2019 in the country, and marked the beginning of his professional career.” 222″, in honor of a number that accompanies her in the most important moments of her life, is titled her debut EP released in September 2019.
