Netflix presented the trailer for “Jupiter’s Legacy,” its new series, created by Steven S. DeKnight and based on Mark Millar and Frank’s comic book series Quitely.La release date is scheduled for May 7, and has already generated high expectations. It will be eight chapters that will follow a decades-long superhero drama and expose complex family dynamics, power and loyalty.
“After spending nearly a century protecting humanity, the first generation of superheroes must pass the witness on to their children to continue their legacy. But tensions are on the rise when young people, eager to prove their worth, fail to live up to their parents’ legendary public reputation or their demanding personal standards,” the synopsis says. It will star Josh Duhamel, Ben Daniels, Leslie Bibb, Elena Kampouris, Andrew Horton, Mike Wade and Matt Lanter. Executive producers will be Mark Millar, Frank Quitely, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Dan McDermott, Steven S. DeKnight, James Middleton, and Sang Kyu Kim.
