The Ministry of Security of the province of Buenos Aires had to offer a reward of between 1,500,000 and 2,000,000 pesos, to whom it provides useful information and data on the whereabouts of Tehuel de la Torre.By resolution 430/2021, to which Télam had access and was signed by the Minister of Security of the province of Buenos Aires, Sergio Berni, it is specified that the sum of money is intended “for those who provide reliable information that contributes to determining the whereabouts of Tehuel” and that they can choose to keep their identity in reserve “before any of the attorneys general of the different judicial departments of the province or before the Provincial Directorate of Registration of Missing Persons”.

The reward was formally requested by prosecutor Karina Guyot of the San Vicente Decentralized Functional Unit. A month after his disappearance, his family demands that they “intensify their search and that justice be done.”

The 22-year-old left his home (located on Buenos Aires Street at 500 San Vicente, Alejandro Korn) on March 11 to meet Luis Alberto Ramos (37), who had promised him a job and who, according to sources of the research, “has a history of violence and drug sales”. And it was last seen between 7.30 and 21 a.m. that day in the vicinity of Mansilla Streets at 1200 or Fries at 800. The complaint was filed by her partner the same day at 1st Precinct, seeing that Tehuel did not return to the home they share.
According to information provided by the prosecution, Tehuel “wore a short-sleeved white shirt, blue camperon with white details and red lining, grey jogging trousers, a grey visor cap with black accents, and blue sneakers.” There are two detainees for their disappearance. One of them is Ramos: in an excavation carried out in his house “a burning phone and some clothing was found, which could belong to the missing young man”. He even acknowledged “having met Tehuel” on March 11 at 16.30, but noted “that they did not go to any event and that each one went his way.” The second is Oscar Alfredo Montes (46), a “scraper” with a criminal record for sexual abuse. It is imputed by the prosecutor for “actual contest cover-up with false testimony” (like Ramos) and, although she had stated that she had not seen it, elements found indicate otherwise.
