The tenth flight of Aerolíneas Argentinas that traveled to Russia in search of another shipment of Sputnik V vaccines, took at least 17 hours and will remain throughout this time at Moscow International Airport.Estimates indicate that it will land in the country on Monday morning, more precisely at 9 o’clock if there are no inconveniences. In principle, the delay is related to the arrival of the cargo at the air station.
These delays are linked to the possibility of more vaccines transferred and as reported spokesmen of the company it is a “very important shipment of vaccines”. Although they avoid giving precise numbers, they ensured that they will be well over 500 thousand doses. Other sources related to the operative slipped the possibility that they will be about 800 thousand doses. Meanwhile, pilots will spend the night in a hotel waiting for the doses to arrive at the Sheremetievo.Si all gears as planned, the Aerolíneas plane will depart Russia at 15, Argentine time, and will be landing in Ezeiza on Monday around 9am. At the moment, in 11 operations completed to the capital of the Russian Federation, 4,467,745 doses of the vaccine manufactured by the Gamaleya Institute were brought to the country.
