Ana María Casó, the film, theatre and television actress who starred and was part of multiple national hits, died this Saturday. The cause of her death could not yet be determined but she would have been found in her lifeless home. He was 86.

Ana María rose to fame for collaborating on television strips such as “Rosa delejos”, “Mary of No One”, “Yolanda Luján”, “Profession housewife”, “Sun key”, “Strange and lovers”, “Onions”, “Muñeca brava”, “I will resist”, “Father Courage”, “Love in custody”, “Murder women”, “A cut”, “Half fault”, “You are my life”, “Argentine ink” and “Desperate housewives”. She was shown in theater with plays such as “Doña Flor and her two husbands”, “The Cat on the Hot Zinc Roof”, “The Paris Brothel”, “Secret Ceremony”, “Mom is a Star”, “Jettatore!”, “What happened to Betty Lemon?”, “The one who kissed and the one who did not kiss”, “Don Chicho”, “One-way passage”, among others.
He also formed the group “Los Independientes” with Onofre Lovero, Gastón Breyer, Pablo Palant, Lía Labarone, among others. In addition, she participated in Teatro Abierto and was one of the creators of the Encuentro Mujer y Teatro de Buenos Aires. He directed works and carried out multiple one-persons. In film it was part of “The Blind Rooster”, “We hardly realized”, “The Author’s Theory”, “Jettatore!”, “The Loves of Laurita”, “The Patriotic Spirits”, “Correctional of Women”, “Revelation”, “Bloody Pleasure” and “Chiquilines”. In 2003, the Argentine Association of Actors and the Senate of the Nation awarded him the Podestá Award for the Honorable Career.
