Cebreros Station, Spain. – The TBT2 telescope, the second of its kind in the world of the European Space Agency, at the European Southern Observatory, located in Chile’s Atacama Desert, whose goal is to protect Earth from dangerous asteroids.
The TBT2 project is a collaborative work between ESO and the European Space Agency, and joins the TBT1, the first telescope of its kind that the space agency built at the Cebreros Station in Spain. Both telescopes will monitor the sky for near-Earth objects that may put our planet at risk.
