Morelia, Michoacán.- The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán (FGE) complied with an arrest warrant against a male person, for his possible relationship in the offences of Equal Rape and Aggravated Rape; events that occurred in a town in the municipality of Erongarícuaro, in the grievance of her 13-year-old daughter.
According to data contained in the Research Folder, during 2019 and 2020, José Antonio “N” took the victim to uninhabited places to sexually assault her, as well as threatening to take her life if she counted what happened.
For these facts, the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Care of Crimes of Family and Gender Violence through its Sexual Crime Care Unit, began the investigations, which allowed to establish the possible relationship of José Antonio “N” in the facts, so an apprehension order was requested against him.
In compliance with this injunction, staff of the institution arrested the investigated person, who will be brought before the court on the basis of a resolution of his legal situation.
