Another 399 people died and 24,086 were reported with coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Argentina. This was reported on Thursday by the Ministry of Health of the Nation in its report. In this way, the report said of 66,263 deaths since the start of the pandemic, and 3,095,582 positive cases in the country. In addition, 107,412 tests were carried out, a higher number than reported on the eve, so the total accumulated studies rose to 11,610,358.
The number of patients remaining interned in the country’s various intensive care units (ICU) remains high, 5,299, although it shows a slight drop from the previous day. In turn, the total occupancy of beds in adult ICU is 68.8% nationally and 76.5% in the AMBA. According to the report, of the total cases, 2,757,230 are recovered patients and 272,089 remain active. Santa Fe reported 1,996 new cases today (accumulates 284,503), so the City of Buenos Aires, with 2,800 (356,170), was relocated as the second most contagious district, second only to the Province of Buenos Aires, with 10,739 infected (1,353,376). Catamarca reported 146 new cases (accumulates 15,697); Chaco, 293 (46,287); Chubut, 192 (55,844); Currents, 225 (38,582); Cordoba, 1,866 (236,247); Entre Ríos, 726 (65,999); Formosa, 353 (5,439); Jujuy, 91 (25,381); La Pampa, 392 (29,036); La Rioja, 78 (13,999); Mendoza, 767 (100,693); Missions, 157 (16,355); Neuquén, 484 (73,441); Rio Negro, 364 (63,117); Jump, 262 (35,889); Saint John, 431 (25,482); St. Louis, 379 (39,986); Santa Cruz, 335 (45,983); Santa Fe, 1,996 (284,503); Santiago del Estero, 345 (31,906); Land of Fire, 88 (26,848); Tucumán, 577 (109,322). Of the total death toll, 235 are men, 159 are women and five people (three from the province of Buenos Aires and two from La Rioja) were reported without sex data.
