Mexico City.- The holder of the Secretariat of the Civil Service (SFP), Irma Eréndira Sandoval, signed an agreement with the Latin American Center of the Administration for Development (CLAD) to professionalize and train Mexican public servants in ethics, public integrity and conflict of interest prevention. The CLAD, based in the capital of Venezuela, is an international public body on an intergovernmental basis, which was established in 1972 on the initiative of the governments of Mexico, Peru and Venezuela.

The SFP assured that the Convention is part of the mission established in 2018 to transform the government of Mexico.

In this regard, he explained that one of the five axes of the relaunch of the public service is the redesign of the Career Professional Service with the integration of the gender perspective. Irma Eréndira Sandoval noted that 34 percent of the general management within the federal government is occupied by women as part of gender equity policies, an increase of 34 percent over last year.
