Specifically, the FEDE explained that it initiated the investigations against De la Garza and another candidate, Samuel García, candidate of the Citizen Movement (MC) party, for requesting the region’s female vote in his favor “in exchange for the delivery of a so-called ‘pink card’, which allows money -1,500 pesos, about $75- once that candidate wins the election for governor.
This means the purchase and coercion of the vote, according to the judicial body, which investigates both pointers in state surveys.
