The Prosecutor’s Office opened the investigative folder 18276/2021 on the complaint of relatives for the abduction of the brothers.
According to UDGTV, José de Jesús studied Energy Engineering at the University Center of Tonalá (CUTonalá) and Abraham aspired to a law degree from the University of Guadalajara (UdeG).

This Friday, at a press conference, Jalisco’s Special Prosecutor of missing persons, Blanca Trujillo Cuevas, said investigations found that “one of the victims had an altercation, argues with some people, enters her home, takes a firearm of her property and begins an assault between one of the victims and the defendants.”

He added that in the confrontation one of the defendants was injured. At the site was a vehicle and the weapon of one of the defendants.

“In the minutes, unfortunately, armed people arrive, they do the deprivation of these people,” he said.
“This couple of young men are still missing,” she said. It added that test data was already available to identify the likely perpetrators. 
This case is released after the abduction of three other brothers on May 7 in Guadalajara.
Armed men arrived at the home of Luis Angel, 32, José Alberto, 29, and Ana Karen, 24, took them away. Three days later the authorities found their bodies.
