Fernando “Chino” Navarro today referred to the controversy he takes today to the official coalition after the government increased the Feed Card and generated the protest of leading social movements, which demand for “genuine work”. The Secretary of Parliamentary Relations of the Cabinet Headquarters assured that the country is “trapped” in a “tangle of social plans” and called for rebuilding the country based on “productive investment.”
“Argentina became trapped in a tangle of social plans. The moment they are awarded one appreciates it, because you are helping someone who needs it, but we cannot build an Argentina based on social investment,” Navarro said.
The reference of the Evita Movement, where Emilio Pérsico, one of the main critics of the measure taken last week, also wided that “we have to rebuild an Argentina based on productive investment, where work is what it orders”. The debate began to take place in the national government and allied forces, in a context where the social situation is pressing and the economy is going through moments of deep instability, with inflation and recession.
