Mexico City.- The Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR) obtained an apprehension order against the governor of Tamaulipas, Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, for crimes of organized crime and operations with resources of illicit origin.
Senator Ricardo Monreal stated through his Twitter account that “In the face of the constitutional crisis of the escaped local executive, agreements are needed and the Senate acts.”
For his part, Morena’s coordinator in San Lázaro, Ignacio Mier Velazco, also commented on Twitter that “there is finally an apprehension order against him (of García Cabeza de Vaca) for organized crime and money laundering”.

Governor Tamaulipeco has investigative folders open for crimes of organized crime, tax evasion and operations with resources of illicit origin, linked to receiving bribes, triangulation of public money through companies and investments in the energy industry.
