Justice ousited actress Anita Co in the criminal assault action initiated by actor Juan Darthés in 2018, after she publicly denounced him for sexual harassment. The decision was of the Oral Court in Criminal and Correctional Court 9 of the City of Buenos Aires.This was confirmed by Raquel Hermida, lawyer of the actress, in dialogue with Télam. He also confirmed that his representative “received no money, nor did he apologize as the other party wanted. In short, we won.”
She also anticipated that for Co “it’s a finished issue, it was an unpleasant process for her, where lawyers on the other side revictimized her, so that’s how far we’ve come.” In turn Hermida noted that Anita Co “will witness” in the case that began in Brazil against Darthés for the allegation of rape made by the actress Thelma Fardin.Remember that the actress denounced through social networks that in 1999 when she participated in the gasoleros strip, the actor sexually abused her, after which he initiated a complaint for slander and insults.
