Airbag, one of the most important rock bands on the national scene, features a powerful version of La Renga’s classic “The Ballad of the Devil and Death”. The material is part of a special celebration of the legendary album “Broken by a Thousand Parts”, released in 1996.
“This is a legendary song, which over the years will continue to be in the spirit of Argentines. Even when the generations that live it are not, because it has a mythical character that will always resonate with us,” reflected Guido, Patrick and Gaston Sardelli, brothers and members of Airbag.
“It’s like those folk themes that we all know, that transcend their own authors and are part of popular culture. From this place and with the affection we have for our friends in La Renga we make this tribute to one of their most beautiful songs”, added the brothers.
The version, which is now available on digital platforms, was recorded, mixed, mastered and produced by Airbag. The video, recorded in studio, shows the band during the song recording process, allowing us to dely a little de bit de into its production.
